The operation of a Full wrap around and overlap labeling machine using a self-adhesive label roll begins with bottles being introduced onto the conveyor system, either manually or automatically. The conveyor ensures smooth and controlled movement of the bottles toward the labeling station. To maintain even spacing and prevent any collisions, a separator mechanism, such as a timing screw or a star wheel, spaces the bottles precisely. As each bottle arrives at the labeling station, a highly sensitive photoelectric sensor detects its position and signals the label dispenser to release the self-adhesive label at the exact moment the bottle is aligned properly. The label is then peeled from the roll, ready for application, ensuring accurate positioning to achieve the full wrap-around effect with the desired overlap.

Once the label is dispensed, the bottle enters the wrapping station where a system of rotary rollers or belts gently rotates the bottle, ensuring even and consistent pressure as the label is applied around its surface. The wrapping device wraps the label fully around the bottle, overlapping the label’s edges to create a secure seal. The self-adhesive backing of the label activates as it is peeled from the roll, adhering immediately to the bottle without additional glue. To ensure the label stays firmly in place, especially at the overlap, additional pressing rollers or air-blow systems may be employed. The labeled bottles are then passed through a quality inspection system, which checks for proper alignment, adhesion, and label integrity. Any bottles that fail to meet quality standards are automatically rejected, ensuring only flawless products proceed. This automated process, controlled by adjustable speed settings, guarantees high precision and efficiency for full wrap-around and overlap labeling applications.
